Current legislation requires us to check the identity of our customers for notary and legal services and to keep that information in our records.
For that reason, we'll need you to show us a photo ID for notary and legal service purposes. We may need to take copies but any details we keep will remain fully confidential and will not be used for any other purposes.
Note: If you are signing a document on behalf of a company - especially if it's a foreign company - we may need to ask to show us evidence that the company exists and that you are authorized to represent it. Our notary and lawyer will be able to tell you which documents you can use use in those cases.
These are some of the forms of ID we can accept. Note that we need to see the original document (not a copy) and we need documents for notary and legal services which have not expired:

As a rule, our fees for notary and legal services are calculated on a per document basis with supplement fees for accessory services, such as attending locations outside our office or carrying out external verification of documents. For non-corporate documents, we apply a sliding scale, offering a discount rate for instructions relating to multiple documents.
